Hi, I’m Glen Sheaff, founder of Boonies. Back in 2010, my wife Julia and I set out to solve a simple problem: too many gumboots were uncomfortable, poorly made, and didn’t last.

We wanted to change that by creating comfortable gumboots built tough enough for Kiwi life.

From our base in Mount Maunganui, we’ve spent years refining and improving every pair. Boonies are made from high-quality materials, combining soft natural rubber, neoprene lining, and thoughtful design to deliver boots that are durable, stylish, and above all, comfortable.
